When your Structural discipline model's Structural data is exchanged, the STD file is opened in STAAD.Pro, the structural analysis is completed, and resulting changes are made to the members in the model. At this point the design is ready to be returned to Structural discipline for an update to the Structural model. This is completed by activating the Update from ISM Repository tool.
